  • Condition: This menu sheet is unused in near mint condition and NOS (New Old Stock). It is original, not a copy or reproduction and not professionally restored. I do not sell copies, reproductions or items that have been professionally restored. I make this statement because in recent months many items that are not original are being offered on the Internet, sometimes without any notation of not being original. Therefore, buyer beware on what you may bid on from other sellers. If you have any doubts, I suggest you ask the seller. Any defects as observed in the picture are from age or normal handling. I have been collecting beer advertising items for over fifty years and have a reputation for selling top quality items.

Here is a Budweiser menu sheet from Anheuser Busch of St. Louis, Missouri. It is unused in near mint condition, clean and fresh in color appearance. It measures approximately 6-1/2" x 9-1/4" in size.
This menu sheet dates back to the 1920s including possibly the early 1930 time frame since it advertises their ginger ale, a soft drink soda, and Budweiser Brew. Both of these brands were their primary products during prohibition when the sale of alcoholic beverages were prohibited by Federal law. Near beer was defined as a beverage containing less then 0.5% alcohol was legal but could not use the name of beer, ale, etc. Legally they described their beverage as a brew, lager, special, etc. The Budweiser neck label shows it as a "brew" thus a prohibition era beverage. Federal law repealed prohibition in 1933 as a reference.
