Rare Beer Advertising Print - Falstaff drinking beer Taber Prang artist 1905

Notice in the photos...square nails holding the print in, have never been removed. Most likely the original glass, in that case. Notice the copyright date of 1905.Nice quarter sawn oak frame, with brass Falstaff sign on it. Art work signed Taber Prang 1905 for the Falstaff. Overall size, 24" tall and 18" wide.
According to WIKI: "The Falstaff Brewing Corporation was a major American brewery located in St. Louis, Missouri. With roots in the 1838 Lemp Brewery of St. Louis, the company was renamed after the Shakespearean character Sir John Falstaff in 1903."
With these two dates, 1903 and 1905 we could assume that this was one of the first Falstaff advertising signs, however I don't know.   If you know of anything, please let me know.  The dates work.  1905 and 1903....  your guess is as good as mine.  The rare things are the hardest to find out anything.   Notice that it says 1640 Vintage on top in Roman Numerals. Shakespeare died in1616 so why 1640? Why Falstaff. Why is the old guy drinking beer out of a glass instead of a mug? In any event, a nice piece.
