Here is a very rare pre pro era advertising envelope from the Green Tree Brewing Company out of Saint Louis, MO dated 1916 and mailed to Osage City Cole County MO Missouri.   The envelope was opened on the right edge so is cut down that side just a tiny bit.  The envelope also has a bit of small bug damage near the bottom left edge.  No letter inside.   Competitor to Anheuser Busch and Budweiser, Wm. J Lemp and Falstaff, Griesedieck National, Hyde Park, Klausmann, Louis Obert Brewing, Heim in East St Louis IL, Western in Belleville, Illinois, Stag, Moerschel in St Charles, Columbia, ABC American Brewing Co, etc etc etc.  Postmarked 1916.
