    Description

    This very unusual ring is sterling silver, so marked on the interior of the band. It is bezel-set with three turquoise-colored, faience (pottery) beetles. The scarabs measure 15 mm, 14 mm, and 8 mm. There are no chips or losses in the pottery pieces, however they all have some crazing. The band is size 7 3/4. The overall condition of this Egyptian Revival item is excellent, with normal signs of age and light wear. There are no maker's marks. It dates from circa 1890 to 1920. The weight is 9.4 grams.
