1979/1980 Rare Budweiser Prototype Paper Bottle Label - "Strong Beer" - Never Ci

NOTE:  This item is part of our June inventory clearance sale ending June 29th.  Most items listed in this sale are priced at or below cost.  This is an attempt to clear our inventory as we transition into an anchor store.  The items in our current store represent about 5 percent of our inventory - our goal is to have 50% of our inventory listed by the end of summer, so please check back often for new listings.  Thanks to all of our customers - you are wonderful!
These rare/one of a kind paper bottle labels were purchased from the estate of a former Anheuser Busch advertising executive.  They were labels created as prototypes for the 1979/1980 new label design.  You can look closely at the brewery locations at the bottom to verify this date.  They include the words "STRONG" "BEER" at the top of the label. This was never seen on the market.  We suspect these were generated as prototypes before a final design was adopted.  They are in new condition - in the original pad.  There are a limited quantity available.  They measure 3 7/16" wide by 2 7/16" tall.  They are one of a kind collectibles for the Breweriana collector - would look great in a small frame or transformed into a paperweight.

Buttercup’s Antiques is a green shipper, meaning we will reuse shipping materials whenever possible without compromising the stated condition of the item.  If you would prefer new shipping materials be used, this may impact shipping price, but we will be happy to accommodate your request.  Just make sure to email us within the two-day handling period after your purchase is processed.
Since many of our items are unique and fragile, we will only accept returns if the item is damaged during the shipping process and we are notified within 24 hours of item delivery.
Items of over 0 in value will be insured.  Artwork of over 0 in value, in addition to being insured, will be shipped using professional packing and shipping services to assure item safety.  The price of insurance and shipping is reflected in either the purchase or shipping costs.
